Loaves & Fishes is proud to host the Miles for Meals 5K at Crystal Frolics 2024. Loaves & Fishes is a nonprofit organization serving free, healthy meals to Minnesotans where the need is greatest. We serve urban, suburban and rural communities through a variety of meal programs supported by creative food sourcing and food rescue efforts.

Loaves and Fishes serves hot, nutritious meals to the hungry in the areas that need it most; we are present in nine counties across Minnesota, serving urban, rural, and suburban residents. The majority of our sites are located throughout the Twin Cities metro area. In 2016, Loaves and Fishes served over 571,000 meals. We operate 31 dining sites, 36 summer sites for children, and 4 farms and gardens. Loaves and Fishes’ programming is supported by over 10,000 volunteers. Our ultimate goal is to provide nourishment through food and community. While the name “Loaves and Fishes” was initially taken from scripture, we are not a religious organization. We serve without regard to religious perspective and do not engage in activities that promote any particular religious cause.
